      1. Thanks so much!! Which aircraft model would you most prefer, considering we already have a 172?

I’m looking at the Republic Seabee which is an amphibious 4-seater which happens to be X-Plane freeware. Not sure if this would be a good buy though…thoughts?

PS: I gave you a staff membership ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. We should get the Cessna out of Wyoming – barely cleared some mountains as I hit the service ceiling.

  2. Happy to be a part of the group! I just started, but I’ll be working towards putting in for that plane.

    1. Great, glad your part of the group ๐Ÿ™‚

EDIT: Thank you so much for all the hard work. I really appreciate your generosity of giving some of your earnings from each flight toward’s the group!

  3. My preferred plane to get for the group is the Cessna 172, available for free in many simulators. I can make more profit with the Beechcraft King Air C90, but it is much more expensive. I will be contributing my entire bank balance ~v$41k (it’ll be more soon) to group plane purchases.

    1. As a possible alternative to the Cessna 172, I would suggest the Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer. It has 4 seats (three passengers) like the Cessna 172 but is both faster by 17 knotts and available for as low as v$65k. I should note that, while the Tri-Pacer’s base price is about v$20k higher than that of the Cessna, it is on-sale by a player. I recently purchased a Tri-Pacer model from the X-Plane ORG store and it is a great plane. What do you guys think? The model is from Alabeo and is available for both X-Plane 10, X-Plane 11, FSX, and P3D.

I’m not sure what your budget is for planes, so tell me what you think. If everyone is ok with it, we can purchase the Tri-Pacer now. Otherwise, we need another v$30k+ for the Cessna 172. Also, please tell us the simulator name and version that you use and any planes that you have. We might find a better plane to purchase!

      1. I feel like more people would get use out of the 172 just because it’s more widely available in the sims themselves, but that’s just me. However, I am running X-Plane 11, and aside from the standard aircraft I also have the Beechcraft 1900C, Cessna Citation X, Cessna T310R, and I was even looking into getting the Piper Twin Comance PA30, but I am still undecided ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Cool, thanks for the feedback! ๐Ÿ™‚

I do believe that the Cessna 172 should be our first plane. Our current balance (thanks in a significant amount to you!!) is about v$121k.

Our second plane, however, is where Iโ€™m unsure now. We could go for another Cessna 172 if the group gets good use out of the first one, but unless two people want to fly at the same time, that might be pointless. For that reason, I think we should get another small 4-12 seat aircraft for bulk transport.

P.S. How did you get the 1900C for X-Plane 11? The one in the ORG store ( is the 1900D, right? At least the liveries seem to imply that…

          1. Nope, it definitely is the 1900D and was a mistype! I love that airplane, it’s what’s helping me take on the larger payout flights. I agree on getting a different aircraft for the second plane to help with better paying assignments.
